Day 1 WED Students arrive in Honolulu airport during the course of the day and evening. You will be met at the airport (see arrival instructions below for where to find us). At the hotel you will be checked in by Explore America Tours staff, given a walking tour of the immediate area, and then have time at the beach or pool until dinner (as long as you stay in groups). Our orientation is after dinner. Remember to buy groceries for our picnic lunch tomorrow.
Day 2 THURS After breakfast, we will grab our daypacks (with your groceries for a picnic lunch) and take off for a fun day exploring the island of Oahu. We will see the north shore surf beaches, play volley ball, have a picnic lunch, etc. Dinner at Hard Rock Cafe.
Day 3 FRI Following breakfast we’re off to Diamond Head for a hike through caves to the top of an extinct volcano. (the only live volcano is on another island 400 miles away). Tonight is the pizza party and fireworks on the beach.
Day 4 SAT We will get up early to head out to the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor to learn about U.S. involvement in WWII. Your guides will review the memorial’s very strict rules before departure. We’ll see a movie about the events that led up to the Pearl Harbor attack and have time to wander through the various exhibits before taking a boat out to the actual memorial. The afternoon is beach time before we head off for the Ala Moana Mall and dinner at Bubba Gumps seafood.
Day 5 SUN Following breakfast,we visit downtown honolulu and chinatown. Back at the beach we will catch some sun and play volleyball. In the late afternoon we board buses for the ride to a traditional Hawaiian Luau. Its complete with buffet meal and Hawaiian and Polynesian entertainment. Bring a jacket or sweater – it can get cool. This is the time to test your hula skills.
Day 6 MON After breakfast, we will spend the morning enjoying a snorkeling excursion, checking out the marine life that is so abundant around Oahu. Mexican Buffet Dinner.
Day 7 TUES Following breakfast, we get ready for our sailing excursion aboard a catamaran. Tonight is your last chance to watch a Hawaiian Sunset. Tonight we have a farewell dinner and dance party.
Day 8 WED It’s our last day and a chance to enjoy the beach and pick up those last souvenirs and gifts for friends and host families at the International Marketplace. You will leave for the airport according to your flight time. There is no dinner provided tonight. Some students arrive home today, but most will land on Thursday.

Hei! Det virker som om du har det utrolig bra:) Men jeg lurer på hvilken organisasjon i USA du har? Og om du er fornøyd med den? For du reiser med Explorius, ikke sant? Skal selv til USA neste år skjønner du :)
